Bratz Games are Back

For a long time I couldn’t find Bratz games in the store. I would walk down the long pink aisle and the sections where the Bratz dolls used to be would be strangely empty. Of course, over a short period of time there were some new dolls to take the place of the Bratz dolls that were under a legal battle at the moment. Soon there were Monster High dolls and Moxie girls, and there still are. But yesterday I was walking down the aisle and I noticed them – the Bratz games are back, and in a shiny new package.

When the Bratz games became part of an ugly lawsuit, they lost a lot of stock with the buyers. Nobody wanted to have much to do with the Bratz dolls any more and now that they are starting to come back, it will be interesting to see just how much they recover. Will they be as big as they once were? At one time they held almost 50 percent of the fashion doll market, after all. I think its unreasonable to think so. After all, the dolls that replaced Bratz are still there going strong. They certainly aren’t going to fade into the background now that they’ve had a chance in the spotlight.
