Three Reasons to Love Online Bratz Games

I love online Bratz games and you should, too. Here’s why:

Online Bratz games aren’t going anywhere. The traditional dolls and regular Bratz games will be pulled from shelves at some point to accommodate the court order to turn the product over the Mattel. With the sheer volume of online Bratz games, however, the courts will likely just leave them alone, so I’ll always have those at least.

Online Bratz games have a huge amount of variety. The Bratz dolls can be used for any kind of game, but the online Bratz games are a bit more structured and still have a huge amount of variety. You can play any number of games online with your Bratz friends, even making yourself one of the Bratz dolls by picking the right features and hair style.

Online Bratz games test my creativity. I like challenges, especially ones that test my skill with fashion and creativity. Bratz games come through on both fronts. You get to play with all kinds of fashion designs and styles and at the same time you get to create entire scenes – not just the dolls in particular clothing. It’s a fun exercise in design and aesthetics.

Celebrating Bratz Games

I’m not sure about anyone else, but I’m still celebrating the fact that Bratz will be around at least another year. Things were looking rather scary for a bit when it seemed the Bratz dolls would be turned over to their biggest competitor, Mattel, owner of Barbie. But we all got lucky when the courts allowed Bratz to continue uninterrupted for awhile longer.

For me, that means I have more time to try and complete my Bratz doll collection. Sure the dolls will likely continue in one format or another, but someday will be fun to pull out my complete Bratz collection to show my children what the original looked like. It’s possible they will have a different, perhaps less urban, version of the doll to play with someday.

Bratz games aren’t just about the dolls, of course. There are countless Bratz games online as well and I play those regularly as well. My favorite way to celebrate Bratz games is to play the online dress up games where I get to dress up the different Bratz in urban fashions of my choosing. I might not be as good as their typical fashion designers, but I can hold my own in the online Bratz games, if I say so myself.

Jealous of Bratz Games

The Bratz games just keep showing up in the news – primarily because Barbie is seeing red. Mattel already won the lawsuit over copyright of the dolls, but MGA Entertainment was granted a stay for a bit before having to turn over everything to Mattel. Perhaps Mattel even plans to sell the company back to the original owners, but I doubt that is the case.

Sales Up, Sales Down
With the recent news about Bratz games, the dolls are getting more desirable. It doesn’t help that they are just as cute as ever. The urban look of the Bratz dolls is much more in line with what girls want to play with than the Barbie dolls.

But most painful of all for Barbie is the fact that Bratz keep selling more while Barbie sells less. Currently, it’s estimated that the Bratz dolls own 40% of the fashion doll market and Barbie only owns 60%. Barbie used to own all of the market, the full 100%, so this is especially painful for the giant toy company.

Finding a Future
Both fashion doll lines are now looking forward trying to decide what the future will hold. For Barbie, the future is rather bright with a full redesign and a fiftieth birthday party to celebrate. The future of the Bratz is, at best, uncertain.

Bratz Design Academy

In the style of Project Runway, teams of tweens are now able to design fashion for the Bratz dolls that will be making a huge splash in the UK. This Bratz game is the real deal with girls brought into the set to design, make and style various outfits. There are shopping sprees and catfights all trying to get styles ready for the catwalk.

In a series of six challenges, the five teams work together to literally create clothing from their own designs. The first challenge was to design an outfit for The Saturdays and the contests just got more challenging from there. With trouble on the very first challenge, two teams came close to disaster and it just got more exciting from there.

The final contest was to design an outfit for the red carpet and was judged by a fashion icon known for his couture designs. The winners of the contest will be given an all expense paid trip to Los Angeles to help design the clothing line for the newest version of Bratz dolls. The show is detailed on the Nickelodeon website and features girls between 9 and 14 years of age – just the right age for girls who truly love Bratz games.

Fun with Bratz Games

I like all kinds of games, but the one I like best are the Bratz games. There is just something about the big doe eyes and wild fashions that draw me in again and again. Playing Bratz games online is one of the most enjoyable ways online to flex my creative muscle and try new things fashion-wise.

When playing Bratz games, I like to focus on the fashion of the dolls. These little dolls were introduced to the world as fashionistas so I prefer to stay true to their nature by creating fabulous outfits, or at least what I consider fabulous, by mixing and matching the clothes available in the Bratz dress up games I find online.

To stay true to the Bratz nature, I try to combine clothing in ways that others might not think of. The colors don’t matter as much as the overall style and impression. So long as everything comes together to create a stylish look that the Barbies of the world will be jealous of, I don’t mind a bit taking the extra time to get everything just right.

Hurray! Bratz Games Are Given a Break

It looked like the Bratz dolls would be pulled off store shelves in just a few months, but just recently the courts granted the company an extension. The extension allows the manufacturer of Bratz dolls to keep the dolls on the shelf just a bit longer – through the year, to be exact.

This is very good news to those who love the Bratz games and dolls. For awhile, we didn’t know what to expect as the dolls had been ordered off store shelves and even the plates used to create the dolls were to be destroyed. Thanks to the stay, we have one more year to enjoy Bratz games just as they are. You also have the rest of this year to start your collection – just in case the dolls are pulled from shelves – they can worth something some day.

I, for one, believe that even after this year not much will change. Mattel might have won the lawsuit, but it’s unlikely they will let the very profitably Bratz dolls languish too long. Instead, the Bratz dolls will likely show up with new packaging to show the change and those of us at the consumer level can simply enjoy the dolls that much more forever.

The Best Ways to Play Online

If you’re headed online to play a few rounds of something, you have a huge assortment of options. Granted, not all of those options are the ones you’re most interested in, but many girls tend to gravitate toward the same kinds of games.

Cooking Games – Cooking games are a test of your speed, endurance and reactions. You have to cook various items and prepare plates for customers in a rapid dance of spatulas, plates and burning hot dogs. The cooking games are fast paced and fun.

Bratz Games – The favorite dolls of an entire generation have a huge number of games online. Dress up the Bratz dolls in a wide array of outfits to give them the urban style you love. Pick a doll or dress up all of the original four. All that matters is you’re having fun with Bratz style.

Barbie Games – On the same plane as Bratz games, Barbie games allow you to dress up your favorite childhood toy in hundreds or even thousands of outfits. If you loved playing with Barbies once upon a time, you’ll still love playing the games. But now the games aren’t in your closet – they are online.

Bratz Games: Still Going Strong

Despite the recent media blitz surrounding Bratz games and their future, the Bratz games are still going strong – online at least. The dolls are in jeopardy on store shelves thanks to the ongoing lawsuit and legal repercussions, but the online Bratz games are available in more numbers than ever before.

Part of the reason for the success of the online Bratz games might be the trouble facing the dolls. The maker of Bratz dolls has been ordered to turn over all of the Bratz merchandise, including dolls to the winner of the lawsuit, Mattel. The plates that actually make the dolls must be destroyed and the company will be essentially out of business completely unless something changes dramatically in a very short amount of time.

But the company that makes the Bratz dolls doesn’t make most of the Bratz games online. Those are done by other companies who like the dolls. So even if the Bratz dolls you know and love disappear from stores, you’ll still be able to find the urban girls online – perhaps even more so than they already are.
