I *Heart* Bratz Games

I love Bratz games. They are complex in a simple way. The concept of the Bratz games is simple enough. You take a doll base that is or closely represents one of the Bratz dolls you might buy in the store. Then you use the wide variety of clothing and accessories to dress the doll according to your own fashion sense and design style. Finally, you can print the doll, save her in your files, send her to a friend or create a story all about her.

The best things about Bratz games, however, is how deeply you can get involved in something that seems so simple. Dressing up a doll is simple. You pick out clothing and put them on the doll. Then you print her out. But when you start to get creative you can make the Bratz games a true challenge. Design outfits for particular reasons or in a certain style. Make your Bratz games something truly magical by claiming the styles and the design of the game for yourself.

I <3 Bratz games.

Bratz Games and Trouble

If you’ve ever looked at certain characters in a book or movie and immediately identified them for the sort of characters they are, you can probably look at the Bratz games and tell what you’re dealing with. Bratz have a reputation for being tough and having quite the attitude. However, when you look at the dolls, you can easily tell exactly how they got the attitude problem. The Bratz dolls look tough. They have an almost smirk on their faces and dress like they’re ready for urban combat missions.

Of course you can’t judge everything by its cover, but the Bratz are certainly not dolls to be trifled with. The Bratz games are actually that much more fun to play because they are different from other fashion games. Playing Bratz games means you’re able to play a girl who means trouble and you don’t have to handle the preppy good girl every single time. I love Bratz games and I’d truly love to be just as tough as they are – as if I were trouble coming down the street.

The Dirty Truth About Bratz Games

You’ve heard it all. Bratz games are ripped off from Barbie. Bratz games are provocative. Bratz games are ruining our youth, blah, blah, blah. There are many things to say about Bratz games, most of questionable authority, but there are some elements of Bratz games that are certainly true – even if you don’t particularly want to believe them.

Bratz Games are Popular With Good Reason
Bratz games are popular for a very good reason. They makes ense to kids and are enjoyable. Kids today like to play Bratz games for many reasons. They like to dress up dolls that are close to their age. They like to play with fashion items that seem like something they might wear. They also like the element of fantasy. The vast majority of girls realize that they won’t be wearing mini skirts and three inch heeled boots to geography class someday, but they can still enjoy the illusion of it all.

Fashion Games Aren’t Reality
If you think playing a fashion game, such as the Bratz games is akin to feeding your child mistruths about the world, look first to what she’s watching on television. There are few shows that show the truth about the world and how demure young women should dress. Blaming a small plastic doll for fashion risks and risqué clothing items, these parents are truly stretching.

Bratz Games Are a Rip-Off
There is no way around it, Bratz games really are a rip-off. The guy who designed them stole the idea for fashion dolls from Barbie. The problem is he just so happened to work at Mattel, Barbie’s parent company while he was having these brilliant ideas. If I worked at Coldstone Creamery and had a brilliant idea for mixing in toppings with ice cream, it would be the same sort of deal. Of course that didn’t stop the ice cream from being delicious and it certainly didn’t keep the Bratz games from being fun.

Is There Anything Right About Bratz Games

To listen to parents and other protesters, Bratz games seem to have it all wrong. The dolls are provocative. They are too edgy. They promote bad attitudes and disrespect. Be that as it may, personally I find it hard to believe that the Bratz dolls have taken half of Barbie’s sales away without any good cause.

Bratz games might be a bit edgy, but they aren’t provocative. We’re talking about plastic dolls. The Bratz dolls have big eyes and big lips. They wear make up and short skirts. Shirts are a bit abbreviated and heels are high. Big deal. Yes, girls like to play with the Bratz dolls and create fashionable attire for them, But doing so doesn’t mean the girls will wind up trying to look exactly like a Bratz doll.

Even if the child is simply desperate to look like her idol, the Bratz doll, she can do exactly that on Halloween. Wearing a mask with the Bratz style outfit or a wig will send a very clear message that the Bratz attire is a costume – not something to be worn every day.

Even if the child persists and wants to wear low cut shirts and short skirts, two things stand in their way. The first is the school dress code. The Bratz might be able to wear incredibly short skirts and mid-drift baring tops to their schools, but there isn’t an elementary school in the country that allows that sort of dress on real students.

This also allows parents to draw the line. If you can’t wear it to school, what’s the point in having it? Your child might play with GI Joe figurines as well as Bratz dolls. You wouldn’t let her wear military garb to class, so don’t let her wear the fake fashion styles of Bratz dolls either. It’s as simple as that.

Playing Fashion Bratz Games

Bratz games are great for many things, but most importantly, they are great for fashion. Fashion is a tricky business with so many things coming into fashion and out again. Contemporary style is always changing, but somehow the Bratz games always seem to be one or two or even three steps ahead of other fashion dolls.

When playing fashion games with Bratz dolls, you’re given a huge edge by the sort of doll you’re playing with. Barbie is wholesome with mass appeal. Bratz are edgier. They have an attitude and show it in the clothing they wear. This makes them more in your face with their style. After all, it is not the conservative dressers we keep finding in magazines showing off the latest and greatest styles. Barbie, by all accounts is a conservative dresser.

Fashion and the Bratz games are intertwined. I’m not one to speculate, but the sheer speed of new styles that appear in Bratz games makes me think the designers might even have the ear of major fashion players in the industry.

Bratz Games Changed the World

It’s rather unlikely that the Bratz dolls or Bratz games had a hugely far reaching affect on any universe other than the fashion one, but when it comes to global change, a global fashion doll change is still significant. When the Bratz games arrived on the scene, there was more than a bit excitement about the new style of dolls.

The Bratz games featured urban, trendy dolls who had a much tougher look than Barbie. Barbie became the preppy doll and Bratz became the tougher ones. Girls with attitude and clothing to match appealed to the older fashion doll market. These girls wanted dolls who were more like the kinds of fashion celebrities they watched on television or in music videos. Try as she might, Barbie simply couldn’t compete on this level.

Bratz took over about half of the fashion doll industry in a tremendously short amount of time. It would seem these was an area of the girl population that wasn’t getting what they needed. Thanks to Bratz games, however, they now have everything they need for fun fashion games.

Bratz Games and You

It’s likely you love playing Bratz games if you’ve ever tried them. Bratz games have a reputation of being a bit dangerous for girls to play, but I think that’s a bit of a mess, myself. After all, how can fashion be so terrible? Once you try playing Bratz games, you’ll more than likely agree with me.

When you sit down to play Bratz games, you’ll have your choice of Bratz dolls to dress up. Pick the doll you like the most and then you’ll be able to choose from hundreds of different wardrobe pieces and accessories. Pull an outfit together to get started and then you’ll start to get in the swing of things.

3 Reasons I Love Bratz Games

If anyone has anything rotten to say about Bratz games, they don’t usually say it in my presence. Everyone around me knows that I love Bratz games. It’s the fun expression on the Bratz dolls faces and the different kinds of clothes you can use that make them enjoyable – among other things.

Bratz games are controversial. I love anything that has a reputation. Boys and games fall into this category. If they are so bad, they must be awesome to play. And so far I haven’t been disappointed.

Bratz games are more grown-up. As much as I love Barbie, and I do, I still feel that Bratz games are a bit more dressed up. Barbie gets dressed up as a fairy tale princess but the Bratz dolls get dressed up to the go to the prom. It’s a simple matter of age and the kind of games you like.

Bratz games include mystery. There is always a bit of mystery surrounding the Bratz dolls. You never really know when you’ll find a great new game or when all of the games are going to disappear completely. The Bratz games did lose a lawsuit after all.

Bratz Games and Girls

Girls love Bratz games with very good reason. Bratz have been possible for years, ever since they were introduced. The Bratz games took on Barbie in a big way and have taken almost half of her thunder, particularly among older girls. But for many girls, playing with dolls in their room or around the house becomes a bit less enjoyable over time. Instead, these girls start looking for the kinds of games they can enjoy in their virtual playground – the internet.

Playing online is natural to virtually every child of the current generation. Taking a popular doll and putting her online is a natural step and one that makes playing with the dolls more enjoyable. Girls who love fashion enjoy playing dress up games online for many reasons.

Dress up games are simple to play online. You need only connect to the internet and do a simple search to find the best Bratz games online. Then playing them is free making them even more enjoyable.

Dress up games use your brain. Many of the games online are almost automatic. They don’t use much mental power. But dress up games do make use of your natural abilities and allow you to test your mind as much as your fashion sense.
