When Bratz Games Disappear

A judge has ordered Bratz games to be pulled off the store shelves and that all equipment used to manufacturer the dolls completely destroyed. This is a huge shake-up in the fashion doll world with Barbie sitting pretty and the forty or so Bratz dolls looking at an untimely end. But not to worry – this is probably not truly the end for Bratz dolls world-wide.

The Decision Is Being Appealed – For one, the decision to pull all Bratz dolls and destroy them is being appealed. The judge might decide to overrule the original decision or let it stand, but it will take plenty of time for things to fall into place.

Mattel Might Reuse the Dolls – Bratz dolls make plenty of money – almost as much as Barbie does. To make the product disappear wouldn’t make very good financial sense to a company as big as Mattel, so it’s much more likely the company which won the lawsuit would simply market the dolls under its brand anyway.

Something Else Comes Along – Now that someone has broken into the fashion doll world beside the Bratz dolls, something else will certainly come along. If Bratz games do disappear, just wait – something better will come along in no time.
