Bratz Games Are History

You’d think that lawsuits against the Bratz would wipe them out of the entertainment venues, but instead, the more Bratz are mentioned in the news and elsewhere, the more popular they seem to be. Bratz games are simple enough – too simple almost to have caused such controversy. In fact, there has been so much discussion about the Bratz games since the early days of their introduction, it’s safe to say that Bratz will go down in history as one of the most interesting fashion dolls.

The Bratz games burst on to the scene as competition for Barbie. It was the first serious competition the pretty blond has ever seen, and the Bratz seemed to be winning – for a while. But the outrage from parents over their clothing and the concern over the message the dolls was sending to others made them a bit scandalous.

Finally Mattel, the maker of Barbie dolls had enough and filed a lawsuit. As it turns out, the inventor of the Bratz games simple took the idea from Mattel where he worked for some time. So now all of the Bratz games belong to Mattel, although no judge has actually made anyone hand anything over just yet. In fact, Bratz seem to be doing better than ever.
