Ending Bratz Games?

There have been more than a few times over the last few years that I’ve wondered if we were looking at the end of the Bratz games. There were some amazing dolls, movies and stories to play with when the Bratz games were first introduced to the market of fashion dolls. Then they sort of petered out. Of course, the lawsuit that Mattel filed against the makers of the Bratz games was mostly responsible for this, but then there is the natural inclination of children to move on to the next great thing.

It’s interesting, however, that every time I’ve honestly considered that Bratz games might have reached their end, I’ve been shown to be wrong. The Bratz games are still going strong, even if they aren’t quite what they were just a few years ago. Today you can find Bratz games in the fashion doll aisle, and online. The dolls are still the same urban fashonistas who look great and wear the most stylish of the fashion doll clothing, but the question remains: Just how long will these dolls stay around?

Bratz Games and New Fashion

If you’re addicted to dress up games and you’re interested in fashion, the best way to get the scoop on the newest styles is to play  Bratz games. Bratz games are the sort of dress up games that allow you to actually see modern fashion on the fashion dolls. Normally you’d enjoy dress up games with princesses or Barbies which are essentially princesses with the various dresses and costumes that they wear.

Bratz games are more urban than the Barbie games. They are more fashionable, in fact, which is great news for anyone who is actually tying to put together a good look based on the clothing they play with on the computer screen. Of course, there are plenty of different styles of Bratz games and some are much newer than others, but there are always more updated games for Bratz than there would be for virtually any other sort of dress up games.

Bratz Games and Spring Fashions

I’ve noticed over the years that the Bratz games do an excellent job with fashion from many different seasons and events, but they don’t seem to do as good a job with the spring fashions. In general spring fashions are flighty and airy with light colors and fun patterns. The Bratz games, however, tend to focus on darker, more urban designs that aren’t exactly what is most stylish when it’s all said and done.

This may be because the Bratz dolls aren’t as trendy as others would be, but the Bratz games have long been praised as the stylish ones – more so even than Barbie who seems to be perpetually stuck in a time warp of the early 1990s in her fashions. But then, maybe the Bratz games aren’t much better. Perhaps the Bratz games are stuck in the early part of the 21st century – prior to their legal problems. But in all honesty – how much would it really hurt to have a Bratz doll wear a sundress?

Bratz Games and Valentines

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and every year you have the choice of what you want to get for your friends and loved ones. Most of us will pick out the valentines that seem the coolest or the most fun in the store. A few of us go for the ironic picks, but why not make your own valentines this year? You don’t have to get very artsy to put something together, and when you do you’ll be able to enjoy the season that much more.

To make some valentines for your friends this year, start with some Bratz games. The games are simple to play online and when you start creating new looks and design with the Bratz games, you’ll see the possibilities are endless. Make a Bratz creation that looks like your best friend or one that just makes you think of her. Dress the creation in something pink and red, print her out and glue her onto a large card. Write clever message on the page and your valentines are finished – and personalized to boot!

Prom and Bratz Games

While the Bratz games may not be the first thing you think of when you’re considering prom dresses, they are the perfect platform for deciding things about style and function for your big day. Not sure what I mean? Consider the purpose of Bratz dolls – they are all about urban fashion. They don’t wear big pageant dresses and they don’t dress up like brides.

If you’re looking for a prom dress that would be unique, fun and exciting, look outside of the proverbial box. Bratz games are full of fun and funky style elements that you can consider for your own design or that will, at the very least, inspire you as you start your search for the very perfect thing to wear to your big day. At the very least, go with the traditional prom dress but pair it with killer shoes!

Bratz Games and Make Up

At first it might seem like a strange combination – Bratz games and make up, but in truth, there is a lot of similarities and overlap between the little fashion dolls and games and the world of cosmetics. This is particularly true for the larger versions of the dolls where their big doe eyes and pouty mouths are more visible. If you’re trying to achieve a more youthful look, it may be that the Bratz games makeup is exactly what you need to try.

Like so many things, our makeup use tends to fall into a rut after awhile. We don’t use any new techniques – we just go with what we know. But when Bratz burst onto the scene, they were problematic because they had such urban, modern make up and styles. If you wanted a simple solution to trying out a new look in your make up drawer, simply pick up a doll and follow the patterns and colors that the doll uses. While it’s hard to predict how you’ll look in the new shades and styles, it’s safe to say it will certainly be a new look for you!

Bratz Games and Growing Up

Everyone has to grow up, and sadly it’s not always fun and games. But there is a way you can continue to enjoy being young and carefree – Bratz games. That may not have been the first thing to spring into your mind, but the Bratz games are a great chance for girls who are growing too old for dolls to continue to do exactly what they want to do – play with dolls!

When you play with Bratz games, you’re not doing the typical fashion games. Bratz dolls don’t dress up in wedding gowns and princess costumes. They dress up in the modern clothing that any girl would love to wear to intermediate or high school. When you dress up your Bratz games either online or at your house, you’re playing with modern fashion – trendy fashion – that you can really enjoy. Not only will you be able to have the fun of playing dress up for one more afternoon, but you’ll also be able to take away a few fashion tips of your own to use in your own wardrobe.

Bratz Games and Monster High

It may seem as though Bratz games have fallen in popularity, but that's not always the case. Bratz games may not be as popular as they were just a few years ago, but that's only because there is more competition for the market of teenagers and young tweens playing games with fashion dolls. For example, the latest craze seems to be the Monster High dolls.

Fortunately, even though Monster High dolls are very much present and in the market, they are very much in line with the trendy vampires and zombies of our current pop culture. If you were to focus on Barbie sales over the years, you'll see that they come and go. But over time the Barbie games remain constant as new dolls are introduced and a new generation of girls enjoys the dolls.

The Fine Art of Bratz Games

Bratz games may not get a lot of press, but they are still very near and dear to the hearts of girls everywhere who love these small urban fashion plates. The Bratz games were originally designed as a sort of competitor to Barbie – or at least that is the way it appeared to Mattel, the makers of Barbie games. But the Bratz dolls have evolved over the years to become a true fashion template for continued success.

Even during the worst of the lawsuits between Mattel and MGA Entertainment – the owners of Bratz games and Barbie games respectively, the dolls themselves were still hugely popular and young girls everywhere loved them. To play the games, you simply have to choose the Bratz doll that you like the most and then start choosing fashions for her to wear. Dress up the doll online and you can change her clothing countless times as you create the perfect look and style.

For the Love of Bratz Games

There’s a lot to be said for Bratz games. They aren't the most obvious choice when you’re going through the doll sections in the toy store, but somehow they seem to keep appearing in your selections. As it turns out Bratz games are immensely popular with young girls who are a bit too old for Barbie, but not old enough to have outgrown fashion dolls all together. These girls enjoy fashion fun with their Bratz games both online and off.

The online Bratz games have a special component. They don’t just focus on pretty pop princess styles the way that Barbie games do. The Bratz games actually focus a bit more on things like urban style and what is actually hip and modern in our current style society. This makes the games stand out significantly from others out there. If you’re trying to come up with some fashionable styles, you can certainly do worse than to copy Bratz games.

Gifts and Bratz Games

I was pleasantly surprised the other day to see so many Bratz games on the shelf as stores prepare for the holiday season. I am an advance shopper and I like to get all of my buying out of the way as soon as possible, preferably before all the madness of the actual shopping season gets underway. This time as I cruised down the Bratz aisle, I was pleased to see so many different types of fashion dolls. Among those were the Bratz dolls that have been missing for awhile.

I realize that the dolls have certainly been around in one form or fashion for awhile, but after the lawsuits earlier this decade, the Bratz games seemed hugely diminished and there just weren't many on the shelves as there had been years ago. Now it looks as though things may be perking up for the fashion doll maker, because more Bratz games than ever are on the shelves, ready to be snatched up for a holiday present.

Over Bratz Games?

I’ll admit that there are times when I wonder if I’ll ever be over Bratz games. They aren't really designed for older kids, of course, but somehow the Bratz games keep dragging me back. I think it’s the style and the fashion that sucks us back in time after time, even when we claim that we’re over dolls and games of the sort. Let’s face it – it’s hard to ever be over Bratz games.

When you play Bratz games, you’re able to see the different sorts of fashion possibilities that are out there while, at the same time, playing with some of the dolls that you've loved since you were much younger. There are some things that are simply timeless, I guess. It’s funny what sticks with you the most from childhood, but the Bratz games are the perfect example of otherwise rather silly things that become sentimental. Do I need to play fashion games? Not really. But I still just love Bratz games.

Bratz Games for a New Generation

It’s startlingly to consider how quickly girls grow up and move on into new areas of play. For the Bratz dolls, they have successfully survived their first generation of girls and are moving quickly into the next generation of elementary aged girls ready to play with urban fashion dolls.

When the Bratz games first came on the scene, they were considered highly risque and a bit too blatant in their style of dress and fashion sense. Original critics notwithstanding, the Bratz games quickly became hugely popular with girls looking for something a bit beyond the saccharine sweetness of Barbie and her friends.

Now that the first batch of young girls to play with Bratz dolls have grown up and moved on into new things like crushes and texting, there are plenty of new youngsters ready to move up and take their place. All that is necessary, of course, is a love of fashion and sense of fun as well.

Bratz Games and Women

Why do we always assume that only young girls enjoy playing Bratz games? Pre-teens are certainly not the only people out there who are interested in fashion, and playing Bratz games is an excellent opportunity for everyone - regardless of age - to enjoy the urban, trendy styles that Bratz games bring to toys and the online games.

Online Bratz games in particularly are easy to play and a nice way to explore some fashion styles you might not have considered previously. The online Bratz games are simple enough. To play the games, you have to simply pick out clothing and drag it onto the bodies of the Bratz dolls that are there waiting to be dressed. You get to design the outfit that your Bratz doll is going to wear, and as you prepare the clothing styles you can simply visualize how that particular outfit would look on you and how you could change up a youthful style to define your more mature style.

Bratz Game and Back to School

Now that we’re heading back to school it’s easy to appreciate your favorite characters that much more. Bratz games used to show up on lunch boxes, backpacks and binders for back to school time, although they  seem to be just a bit harder to find these days. Bratz games were immensely popular and they have stood some ground during the hard years that followed the initial lawsuit by Mattel.

Sadly, however, even the strongest toy goes through periods of downs and ups. At the moment, Bratz are in something of a slump. It’s only natural that the Bratz games would be on a down cycle with so many years spent in lawsuits. The dolls have been pulled from the shelves, put back again and almost changed hands. So now there are plenty of others moving in to take up some of that shelf room. But it’s likely that Bratz games will be back in full force soon enough.

Bratz Games: The Virtual World of Bratz

Bratz games may not be flying off the shelves much anymore – mainly because they aren’t on the shelves much anymore – but these fashion divas are still very much in demand and hugely popular with young girls. But if you can’t find Bratz games on the store shelves, where are young girls getting their fix of doe-eyed, urban beauties? The answer is simple enough – they are finding a bit of fashion fun on their handheld game players and online.

Bratz games are a huge sensation online. The games featuring what amounts to a paper doll series of Bratz dolls are ideal for playing dress up games on the computer. No fuss, no muss and not expensive since the games are totally free most of the time. Of course, there is another option for those seeking to play Bratz games. The Nintendo DS games are popular with young girls as well. With a new game coming out in time for Christmas, those looking for their fix of Bratz will simply have to get it courtesy of Nintendo.

The Future of Bratz Games?

Of the many different fashion games available for girls, Bratz games have had the most ups and downs. The Bratz games that came on the scene a decade ago have had a rough lifetime. When they first emerged into the fashion doll world, Bratz dolls were snapped up by girls tired of Barbies and babies. They wanted something that looked to be a bit more real - and Bratz games delivered.

But then things started to get a bit sticky for the Bratz games. They were cutting into Barbie's market share considerably and Mattel, the maker of Barbies, sued. Through the next few years, the legal battles raged between the two companies. At first Mattel appeared to be the victor, but then the tides shifted on an appeal and Bratz games came out ahead. Unfortunately, by this point the fashion doll market had moved on a bit and Bratz dolls are hard to find in many major stores. Will they have any future at all?

Bratz Games and Competition

If there was ever a fashion doll ready for some serious competition, the Bratz dolls have this one in the bag. Not all toys are designed for fashion wars, retail battles and all out warfare in the courtrooms, but it seems Bratz dolls have waged all of those battles and still stand – even if they aren’t actually the winners in every one of the fights.

Bratz games have been assaulted by competition from the first day that they appear on store shelves. First, the fashions that the Bratz dolls sported encouraged the makers of Barbie games to up the ante a bit. They wanted to compete on the urban looks, and Barbie was more than willing to oblige. Even so, Bratz dolls were still best known for their hot, urban looks. Then, the makers of Barbie games took the Bratz games to court and the competition definitely heated up.

Years later it’s still hard to say who won that particular battle and who wound up the loser, but one thing is certain. You can still find Bratz games online and on the shelf, proving it takes more than some fights to knock those dolls of the top.

The Basics of Bratz Games

Bratz games are a simple extension of the Bratz dolls that girls love to play with. You’ll find the dolls on the fashion doll aisle in any toy store or section, and the Bratz dolls are unique in their sultry appeal. In fact, when the Bratz games first appeared in the toy stores, some parents had a small freak out fit because they appeared a bit too sexy for little girls to play with.

Other parents embraced the dolls, however, as they actually reflect current fashion and styles. Where Barbie gets a pink convertible that no real life girl will likely ever drive, the Bratz games are rolling around in a black SUV. That’s a bit more like it for the rest of us. The Bratz dolls became famous almost overnight not just because they were so attractive, but because they were so popular as well. Little girls loved them and suddenly you found Bratz games everywhere – and you still can play Bratz games today online or off.

Fun with Bratz Games

If it's been a while since you thought about the various Bratz games available, perhaps it's time that you think again. Bratz games are a great way to blow off steam at the end of the day and to relax and appreciate the finer things in life like fashion dolls and playing with neat clothing. Bratz games are a nice way to not only stay caught up with fashion, but to enjoy playing simple games online as well.

In the Bratz games, the dolls are ready for fashions immediately. The point of the game is to find the various clothing that suits the doll and your own style choices and dress her up. Because you're playing with Bratz games rather than any other style, you're actually able to use urban styles that are more in line with what we actually wear today than anything else. This isn't a game with ball gowns and wedding dresses - it's a chance to dress up Bratz games in fashions you can actually see yourself wearing, and that's one of the major perks.
