Bratz Games for the Win!

There is a not-so-silent competition between Bratz and Barbie games. It’s becoming clear, however, that the Bratz games on the internet and on the toy store shelves are closing in for the win. While the manufacturers of the games might have squared off in a court battle, the girls of the world are simply picking up the games they like the best – which is turning out to be Bratz more and more often.

Bratz games have the edge on Barbie games for many reasons. Bratz games include trendier fashion and aren’t as preppy and wholesome as most of the Barbie games are. It’s hard to love Barbie fashion when your own fashion sense is a bit more urban or punk. Bratz cover a much wider spectrum of fashion styles than Barbie who seems to be preppy or pretty in a full-length gown.

Bratz games also have a more targeted appeal than Barbie games. Little girls love Barbies and their mothers love Barbie as well, but the girls who are online playing dress up games are much more likely to be into Bratz than Barbie games. This means the typical online girl will be heading to a Bratz game website – not a Barbie game one.
