Five Things To Try With Bratz

If you love Bratz games here are a few ideas to keep you going:

Find new Bratz games online. Look online for the latest and greatest dress up and flash games for the Bratz dolls and characters you love so much.

Create Bratz coloring sheets. There are plenty of websites that allow you to upload pictures and make them into coloring pages online. If you love to color, this would be perfect for you.

Have a Bratz Farewell Party. The Bratz as we know them are leaving thanks to a lost lawsuit. Invite friends and their Bratz dolls over to mourn the loss together. This is also a good excuse to just play with your dolls like you haven’t done in a long time.

Make your own Bratz outfits. Find some scraps of material and some fabric glue or tread and start creating your own wardrobe for your dolls.

Start a Bratz collection. Gather your dolls and other items that are related to the Bratz. With the dolls going away and the lawsuit, your collection might be worth quite a bit someday.

Bratz Games: In or Out

The Bratz are in trouble. Mattel has won rights to the company and to the dolls. The Bratz games we know and love will cease to exist in February, but it that really the end of the dolls that we love so much?

The Bratz are a global sensation. They might not be known quite as well as Barbie around the world, but the Bratz dolls have a huge following that will mourn their passing if they really do pass. Of course, there is great skepticism about the whole thing. Many people are having a very hard time believing that the Bratz dolls will be fading into oblivion any time soon.

I have a hard time believing they will, however. If Mattel has any sense, and they must as they just won a huge lawsuit, the company will continue to make the Bratz dolls and accessories. They might be under the Mattel label now, but that doesn’t matter to most of us. There is too much money to be made from the dolls and a company that would throw away all of those future profits would be very foolish indeed.

Bratz Games and Barbie

If you know Bratz games, you certainly know Barbie, too. Once upon a time, fashion was a one girl show. Barbie was the fashion doll industry. But then, just a few years ago, the Bratz appeared. The Bratz games were younger, more fashionable and made Barbie, who used to be highly criticized for her figure, look like a angel.

Bratz games had a huge following almost immediately. Girls loved them and parents tolerated them, even if they didn’t really care for the pouty mouths and skimpy wardrobe. If you loved Bratz dolls, you soon had them on everything. You could find Bratz on backpacks, pencil boxes, folders, toothbrushes, and of course online.

Barbie was in just as many places, but somehow Barbie doesn’t carry the same appeal to many girls. They relate more to the urban princesses and their pop culture fashion styles rather than the blonde bombshell who stole the show for so many years. Face it, Barbie is just old – the Bratz are literally the younger, fresher model.

Are Bratz Games Here to Stay?

Amid much controversy, Bratz games seem to be marching along rather steadily. In stores, all Bratz dolls are supposed to be removed from shelves soon as their original manufacturer lost a lawsuit, but I haven’t noticed any changes online. All of the Bratz games I’ve known and loved are still right where I left them.

Personally, I think that even if Bratz games are pulled from the toy store shelves, they will still show up online. The internet is a haven for all kinds of things that are iffy at best. Games about dolls that should no longer exist are just a drop in the bucket. Of course, Mattell might not think so, but it’s a huge battle to take on the whole online gaming community.

So if you’re worried about what you’ll do when you can’t buy a replacement Bratz toothbrush or can’t seem to find your favorite Bratz t-shirt, you can rest assured that the Bratz may be gone, but they certainly aren’t gone forever. And they absolutely aren’t gone from the internet. In fact, the internet might be the only safe haven they have left – for now.

Bratz Games: Love ‘em or Hate ‘em

I had an interesting experience the other day. I asked my younger cousin about Bratz games and she wrinkled up her nose as if the thought disgusted her. The Bratz games seem to illicit a strong emotion in girls You either love them or hate them, and you can really argue either way.

Love ‘em!
The Bratz games are much more “real” than other fashion games. Bratz are more urban and there is a huge number of people who can relate to the fashion and attitude of the Bratz dolls more so than they can the super clean image of Barbie.

It also helps that the Bratz dolls are four girls of different races all brought together as friends as opposed to Barbie who is the lead character in her own multicultural party. There are also plenty more Bratz boys than there are Ken figures.

Hate ‘em
The number one complaint about the Bratz is that they are too urban for many people’s tastes. It’s legitimate – they do seem to be wearing very little most of the time anyway.

The Many Faces of Bratz Games

There are so many different kinds of Bratz games both online and in the stores. The original four fashion dolls were just the beginning of the Bratz game craze. Even now, facing some legal troubles, you can find all kinds of Bratz.

Baby Bratz – The youngest Bratz dolls, these cuties have big features, but are obviously, well, babies. There isn’t much you can do to dress up a Baby Bratz, but they are still fun.

Bratz Kidz – Younger than the typical Bratz doll, Bratz kidz are hip and urban youngsters who can pal around with the best of them. You can dress them, but Bratz Kidz look best on backpacks and lunchboxes.

Bratz Boyz – My personal favorite, the Bratz Boyz are one of a kind. Ken might be into fashion, but the Bratz Boyz are the only line of boy fashion dolls around.

Bratz Dolls – The original four dolls have expanded considerably into a large collection of urban and trendy fashion dolls. With every race and background covered, it’s nice to see such as variety of fashions and dolls to choose from.

Bratz Games – The Big Concert

If you have a nice collection of Bratz dolls, have you ever let them perform they way they were designed to do? Bratz dolls are fashion icons, of course, but many of the characters actually have a bit of musical talent as well. You can play with your dolls being true to their original characters or you can make them all singers – it doesn’t matter, it’s your Bratz game!

Set Up For the Concert
To have a concert, you’ll need to decide which of your dolls will be singing and which will be the audience or talent scouts. Sort through your dolls to get the right mix. Then, get your singers ready by assembling their best outfits and getting their hair just right.

You’ll need to take the stage into consideration as well. After all, the Bratz have to have somewhere to actually put this concert together. An overturned box or a baking tray might be just what you need to get a raised stage. A rigged flashlight makes a great spotlight as well.

Pure Entertainment
Finally, crank up some tunes and have your Bratz dolls sing their hearts out. Coordinate their dancing and even sing for them if you’d like. It’s all the game!

Winter Bratz Games

Winter can be a bit dreary outside once the fun of Christmas and New Years are over. But cold, wet days are no reason to be gloomy inside. You can use your Bratz games to entertain yourself for hours on end, especially if you get creative both online and off.

Online Bratz Games
Your first option is to take yourself online and find the best Bratz games available. Look for the newest games and be sure to play some of your old favorites as well. Most of the Bratz games are dress up games, but some are flash or adventure style games as well. Play all different kinds to find the ones that you like best.

Bratz Dolls
And when your eyes are crossing from too much time in front of the computer, pull out your Bratz dolls and create a fun adventure for them. A fashion show or romantic date with the Bratz Boys will certainly keep the Bratz and you out of trouble and away from boredom. Take the dolls for a spin or get them ready for a big concert. Just have fun!

When Bratz Games Disappear

A judge has ordered Bratz games to be pulled off the store shelves and that all equipment used to manufacturer the dolls completely destroyed. This is a huge shake-up in the fashion doll world with Barbie sitting pretty and the forty or so Bratz dolls looking at an untimely end. But not to worry – this is probably not truly the end for Bratz dolls world-wide.

The Decision Is Being Appealed – For one, the decision to pull all Bratz dolls and destroy them is being appealed. The judge might decide to overrule the original decision or let it stand, but it will take plenty of time for things to fall into place.

Mattel Might Reuse the Dolls – Bratz dolls make plenty of money – almost as much as Barbie does. To make the product disappear wouldn’t make very good financial sense to a company as big as Mattel, so it’s much more likely the company which won the lawsuit would simply market the dolls under its brand anyway.

Something Else Comes Along – Now that someone has broken into the fashion doll world beside the Bratz dolls, something else will certainly come along. If Bratz games do disappear, just wait – something better will come along in no time.
